Abstract

Contains a petition of John Henry of Williamsburg to Lieutenant Governor William Gooch asking that no patent issue on a survey for four hundred acres of land lying on the head branch of the Great Rocky Creek in Hanover County. According to the petition, this land was surveyed on 2 November 1723 for John Kimbrow of Spotsylvania County.
