Abstract

Contains a deposition of Cavan Dulany sworn before John Tayloe & Thomas Lee regarding an action brought by William Hall against John Quin in October 1733. According to the deposition, Dulany was in the company of John Mercer & others in Prince William County when he heard Mercer affirm that he was so sure of getting the cause, that he would pay the whole costs & charges of the suit.
