Abstract

Contains a petition of Robert Napier, Jr., to Lieutenant Governor William Gooch asking for redress against William Mayo, surveyor of Goochland County, who surveyed one hundred acres of land on the north side of the North River. According to the petition, Mayo refused to deliver his plat & certificate, and instead delivered it to Miles Cary.
