Abstract

Contains a deposition of Hugh Blackburn, aged eighteen, sworn before George Newton & John Taylor regarding a discourse between Lord Banff & John Taylor, Mayor of Norfolk. According to the deposition, Blackburn overheard Lord Banff tell the Mayor that if a watch is kept in Norfolk, he would order his men to wear arms in their defense when they come ashore.
