Abstract

Contains a petition of Elizabeth Davis, lately of London, to Lieutenant Governor Francis Nicholson asking for relief as heir at law to the estate of her uncle, Devereux Brown, formerly of Accomack, and his son Edmund Brown. According to the petition, Brown died intestate and his widow Tabitha Hill, possessed herself of the estate, though no inventory was exhibited.
