Abstract

Contains a complaint of John Wills & his wife Elizabeth, executrix of the will of Thomas Harwood of Elizabeth City County, by Robert Hyde, their attorney, in the General Court against William Mallory in a plea of trespass. According to the complaint, Thomas Harwood, before his death, became bound with William Mallory to John Cooper, a London merchant. Cooper brought an action of debt against John & Elizabeth as executrix of the will of Thomas Harwood at York County on 24 January 1703.
