Contains proceedings of the Council of State regarding a bill directing the trial of slaves committing capital crimes; a message from the Governor to the House of Burgesses regarding additional instructions relating to the trade & shipping of Great Britain; amendments to the act for better securing the payment of levies, the restraint of vagrant & idle people, and for the more effectual discovery & prosecution of persons having bastard children; and a message from the Governor regarding the condition of the arms in the Magazine & Governor's House.
