To the Honble. the Speaker and House of Burgesses. The Petition of Moses Hunter of the County of Berkeley. Humbly sheweth. That your Petitioner Entered into a [recognesance?] in the Court of the said County of Berkeley, to Appear at the General Court as a witness for our sovereign Lord the King, On the Trial of James Connor a felon that your Petitioner by reasons of his [illegible] [illegible] was prevented from Reaching the Capitol hill about two Hours after the Trial and Conviction of the said Connor. Your Petitioner therefore Prays the Consideration of the Honble. House and he will Pray &c. 220 Miles 1 Day Longer at Ashby Falmouth & Ruffins
